After receiving proposals from five pool remodeling companies, we chose Jason Lewis and Rockworks, Inc. Why? . . . Because Jason was knowledgeable, presented great ideas for our project, and projected a customer first business philosophy.

Our instincts were correct. Jason and his two teams (demolition and rebuild) did an outstanding job and completed the remodel of our pool waterfall in a timely manner. The demolition crew worked very hard to remove a huge rock water feature, completing their work in one day. The rebuild crew created a simple, yet elegant, wall with waterfall, faced with beautiful stone. They, too, finished their work in one day.

Both crews were excellent, hard working, personable, and customer oriented. Jason oversaw the project from start to finish, checking the progress and directing his crews several times each day. It was obvious that Jason wanted nothing less than a perfect project and total customer satisfaction.

We recently moved to a new home and wanted to update the pool deck, add a water feature and update the landscaping. Having worked with Jason Lewis at Rock Works before, I had him as well as 3 other “pool remodel” companies submit proposals and quotes for the work. Jason came out, asked a lot of questions specifically about our vision and life style, took pictures and measurements and made suggestions. Jason’s proposal and quote was very detailed, had computer drafted design renderings of the proposed work, and was clearly the best value for the money. In addition, no other pool company would directly do the landscape portion but Jason designed and quoted that as well. Having a single contractor responsible for the whole job was important to us.

We are very pleased with the outcome and love our new back yard, patio and water feature. Jason’s sense of design is incredible. He has a very good eye for what will work best in your environment and how the components from travertine to landscape should work together to make a coordinated impression. In 2012 we purchased a short sale with many projects that needed to be completed. There largest of the projects was a total demo and remodel of the backyard. The project itself was overwhelming so we put it off for 4 years. A friend recommended Rockworks based on their experience. We met with Jason to discuss what we were looking for. He asked insightful questions and made recommendations based on our vision. Jason has a natural gift for design and knowing what will look the best. The quote we received was detailed so we could fully understand where we would be spending our money. The quote was fair and competitive. Rockworks also provides a 2-D computer generated drawing of the items included in the quote in our backyard. We were able to make adjustments to the original design based on how they would look in our backyard.

We were given a 6 week timeline for the demo and remodel. Jason submitted the plans to our HOA and followed up with them accordingly. Jason’s crew was excellent! The level of detail they provided in all of the work was exceptional. If something wasn’t done according to their standards, they redid it. Jason checked in with us daily to let us know how the project was progressing. It allowed us the opportunity to make small adjustments to the design throughout the project. The overall project was completed within the 6 week timeline in spite of 4 unexpected rain days where they were unable to work.

We are so happy with the changes made to our backyard and the work done by Rockworks! The quality of work is the best I’ve seen. Our backyard is truly the favorite part of our house now. Thank you Rockworks!
